When AIMIGA processes customer-controlled personal data on documented instructions, the customer remains responsible for its purposes and lawful basis and AIMIGA acts as processor within the agreed scope. No paid production processing starts without a signed order and, where AIMIGA is the processor, an applicable data processing agreement.
Scope and documented instructions
The signed order and data processing agreement specify the processing purpose, duration, data categories, data-subject categories and documented customer instructions. AIMIGA processes the data only to deliver that scope or meet a binding legal requirement.
Security and access
The applicable agreement records technical and organisational measures proportionate to the implementation, including access control, confidentiality, change management, incident handling and recovery responsibilities. Access is limited to authorised people and services that need it for delivery.
Subprocessors, transfers and end of service
The data processing agreement specifies approved subprocessors, applicable transfer safeguards, customer notice, assistance with rights and incidents, and deletion or return at the end of service. Customer-configured integrations remain subject to their own provider terms and instructions.
When is a data processing agreement needed?
A signed data processing agreement is required before paid production processing where AIMIGA acts as processor. It records instructions, security measures, subprocessors, retention, transfers, assistance and deletion or return obligations.
